Science Communication Symposium

I was unable to stay at the event for a very long time, but being there for a short time was very interesting. I found the topics of the research projects interesting, and how so much time and energy is put into science communication research. I picked up information about the Sloan program in health management, I thought it was interesting that they have an entire program dedicated to health administration, and include it in this event. Before this class and thinking about it I did not see much of a connection between health administration and communication. Now I understand how important it is for scientists in this field to effectively communicate with each other and their patients. There were several other interesting projects and the even gave insight on just how much sophisticated work and research is being done in this field. I would have liked to have been able to talk to some people about projects and learn more about what the goals and current issues were.
