"Lost" Science Debunked
Anyone who watches the TV show "Lost" will appreciate this article greatly. It ties in well with science communication, especially lab lit material.

I am a huge LOST fan and have been wanting to put up a post about the representation of science and scientists on this popular TV show! As this article confirms, the scientists associated with the DHARMA initiative on the show are definitely portrayed as creepy, and perhaps even evil (but morally nebulous at best). I believe this show definitely capitalizes on the general public's lack of knowledge/fear of esoteric science research, as has gone on on this creepy island for long stretches of time...
Out of all the posted articles I was most intrigued with this one in regards to ABC's "Lost". "Lost" is the only show I watch and have been watching it since it first aired 4 seasons ago. Especially after our final paper on lab lit I was most intrigued with the mention of how typical the scientists were portrayed. With the show's combination of faith and science, "Lost" is able to create a cliff-hanging lab lit TV show.
